Brandi + Keegan’s intimate wedding in Madera Canyon followed by a reception with their closest people at their home in Tucson, Arizona.

Brandi + Keegan had such a lovely, intimate wedding ceremony at Madera Canyon south of Tucson. Their wedding day was not immune to the trials of 2020 though. They had to change their location due to the fires on Mount Lemmon and even had to deal with an unfortunate mistake made by the officiant when he confused the time of the ceremony. Thankfully, I had arrived early to the location to scout and could quickly adjust the timeline to allow a moment for Brandi + Keegan to breathe and enjoy their first look together before continuing on to formal photos before the ceremony.

Brandi’s son walked her down the “aisle” a wooden bridge leading to their ceremony site and watched dutifully as she and Keegan exchanged vows to officially make their family one. As soon as the two of them kissed as husband and wife, Brandi’s son burst into tears and shocked both the couple and the guests. Instead of a grand procession down the aisle, Brandi, Keegan and their kids embraced and let their emotions show freely. It was beautiful to witness.

Intimate weddings are always so special because I get an up close vision into who the couple is as well as the people who really support them. Brandi and Keegan have a tight group of friends who honestly seem more like family. It was such a joy to watch them together and they each showed love and support over their two friends who tied the knot. B + K cleared out their living room and set up tables adorned with baby’s breathe and roses to celebrate their Fall evening together. The night ended with Brandi and her son slow dancing in the living room, bare foot, and all of the friends together outside laughing and enjoying themselves, just content to be together.
