Part 2 of my best of 2020! If you missed part 1 with weddings and couples, check it out here.
I am equally as grateful for my family + senior portrait clients this year! Seniors sessions are some of my absolute favorite sessions in my job. I love working with you, one and one, getting to know who you are and what brought you to this point in your life – celebrating your high school or college graduation (and even some masters students!) Especially in a year as crazy as 2020, I am so thankful for the opportunity to help you celebrate your hard work. Graduating is hard enough without a global pandemic so, if you were one of my graduating clients this year, I hope you pat yourself on the back AGAIN. You did it and you have even more strength, resiliency, endurance and empathy going into this world because of what you went through in 2020. I’m so proud to have photographed you!
And my families! You know I love and appreciate you, too. I have the incredibly gift of coming and simply watching you live, interact with your kids and your spouse and see all that makes your family special. I have really leaned in to the documentary/lifestyle family session and stepped away from the traditional family session. This year I have photographed families making cookies, pierogies, playing in their homes and eating pie in the grass. I have seen babies slurping noodles and taking their first steps. Photographing families, for me, is about affirming who you are – your hard work as parents, the beauty of your kids playing together and all that goes in to your home.
I hope you enjoy these portraits! As always, if you love my work, share it with someone! Share this link with someone who needs senior portraits or family portraits. That’s the biggest compliment you could give me and is so, so helpful. Enjoy!
