It was an incredible pleasure to be the wedding photographer at Gab and Chris’ Tucson wedding at Hacienda del Sol. These two were referred to me by one of my most favorite Tucson wedding planners around, J Robertson Events. I am so glad she saw that we would be a good match. After photographing Gab and Chris’ engagement shoot in the Tucson desert, I knew we were a good match, too.

Gab and Chris are authentic, full of life people and the friends and family they’re surrounded by are just the same. Chris is kind, sensitive and caring and is the type of person that remembers details about you that most people would forget. Gab is equally as sweet and kind, vivacious and has one of the best smiles I’ve seen!

These two wanted to feel like themselves on their wedding day. They wanted to be in the moment and enjoy the joy of celebration with the people around them. It was such a joy to be present while Gab and her friends and moms were getting ready; allowing me to be present for the laughs and smiles and tears and all the moments in between. Welcoming me like family, I had the privilege of capturing all the hugs and real moments of their wedding day.

Something especially special about their day was brought about by Tucson’s late monsoon season in 2022. We were worried about rain all day. Instead, we were graced with the most beautiful rainbow, appearing right over the couple during their ceremony.

Gab and Chris are my kinda people. They feel deeply, they surround themselves with people who encourage and build them up.. They dance hard and love tenderly. This day had no shot list besides a list of family photos. This allowed both the couple and myself to be in the moment and I’m thrilled with what was captured because of that.
