Leah’s Mount Lemmon senior portraits.
Sweet, confident, selfless Leah. I had the pleasure of teaching this girl during my first year as a photography teacher. I remember it was the first assignment and I made my students take an ungodly amount of photos. Everyone was still getting used to their technology and I was trying to enforce rules 😉 Leah had some technology issues and wasn’t able to get her project in on time. Her mom contacted me to reassure me of Leah’s attentiveness and said something along the lines of “she will literally do whatever you ask. Please forgive her this time.” It was a slice of humble pie for me and a good opportunity to get to know my student better. Her mom wasn’t lying. Leah was such a good student. So so creative in her photography projects and someone I consistently was able to count on. As she has grown, she’s stepped into so many leadership roles around school and I have loved watching her creativity grow in the way she leads.
We danced up on Mt. Lemmon to celebrate that she’s graduating in May!! Leah wants to train to become a pilot! I could insert so many flying puns about her future, but I’ll just say that I know whatever she does as a career, she will walk with humility and a gracious and loving heart.
