In honor of Allyson and Mira’s wedding this weekend, here is their Tucson El Presidio engagement session!
When Allyson and Mira reached out about having me photograph their wedding, they told me a bit about themselves. They emphasized that as a couple, they’re two very different people; different religious and cultural backgrounds, different hobbies and interests. They emphasized that even though they are quite different, their differences are what makes them stronger as a couple. I loved reading this! Allyson and Mira went on to explain that their differing interests challenge the other. Mira owns her own contracting business. Allyson is learning to not be afraid of power tools. Allyson is a dance teacher. Mira is learning to not be afraid to dance. (It looks like she’s getting over those fears – they had such cute dancing photos during their engagement session).
It’s been so much fun getting to know these two during the wedding planning process. They are kind, strong and empathetic people and have made me feel so valued. As we’ve been planning we’ve been discovering all the people we know and have in common. Allyson and Mira were recommended to me by another wonderful couple I photographed, Caitlin and Bradford. We also discovered that they are friends with another couple whose wedding I’m photographing this Fall. Tucson truly is a small big city. It brings me a lot of joy to know that good people refer me to other good people. I am truly very spoiled by the great clients I get to work with. These two are absolutely apart of that category.
Their wedding is this weekend at Kartchner Caverns just East of Tucson. Stay tuned for more of those photos! Until then, enjoy Allyson and Mira’s Tucson El Presidio engagement session.
