Brett + Kelsie came all the way from Georgia for their Tucson Barrio engagement session!

When these two inquired through my submission form on my website, I was so excited! Not only did it sound like they valued beautiful photography, but she seemed immediately open and willing to tell me about themselves. This adds so much value to your relationship with your photographer because it allows us to know you and tell your story better. Most importantly, it allows you to feel more comfortable with me! I am so grateful for their trust and willingness to open up!

Kelsie described Brett as her patient and steady presence to her “8-wing-7” energy – haha! Any other enneagram fans here? When I met this couple, I immediately felt like we could be friends! Kelsie suggested lots of Beyonce for their Tucson Barrio engagement session playlist which is ALWAYS a huge plus for me! She brought so much zest and energy and liveliness to the photoshoot. Meeting Brett, you could just tell that he adores Kelsie. The strong and steady presence she described was super evident in the way he cheered her on and laughed along with her. These two made such a sweet pair.

We started their Tucson engagement session in the Barrio downtown. The Tucson barrios are historic neighborhoods that contain incredible color and character. They’re so much fun to explore in and were perfect for these two who were visiting Tucson for the first time.

Kelsie + Brett’s Tucson engagement session was filled with their beautiful personalities, amazing dance moves (lots of photo evidence of that!) and such sweet snuggles. I’m so excited to share!
