Okay, I should probably clarify for any friends and family of the couple. They’re not engaged 😉 I just wrote Tohono Chul engagement session for search engine purposes 😉
These two were given a gift cards for my services (ask me about them!) from Kyle’s generous mom and used it to take some beautiful, sun-soaked, colorful couples photos at Tohono Chul in Tucson, AZ. Anyway! Let’s get into Julie + Kyle’s photos!
Julie and Kyle are such wonderful, caring, intentional, compassionate souls. It was such a pleasure pending an afternoon with them. I was given the opportunity to hear about their love and life together. They allowed me to enter into their silliness and just their being-themselves-ness. It was such a joy!
Often times, before sessions, couples tell me that they feel awkward or not photogenic. I totally get that. It feels like such a treat to have two clients who trust me and are willing to let their guard down a little. In this session, I felt super trusted by Kyle and Julie. I think the silliness and genuine connection that was captured is proof of that.
These two enjoy house music, video games and their two silly cats. They seem to infuse intentionality into every part of their life whether that how they treat each other, their environment or how they speak in conversation. They are quality and I love hanging out and photographing quality people.
When I look at these photos, I put myself in Julie and Kyle’s shoes. I dearly hope that, as they look at them, they see their true self. My hope is that they see a snippet of their relationship in its realness. As they look through these photos, I hope the feelings they have for each other bloom brightly within them. All the goofiness and giddiness and sweetness.
