Brie and Jon’s Sedona engagement session! It’s bit a minute since I’ve blog; I seem to be off my blog game but that’s typical for this time of year. With the full schedule of wedding season, other things take precedent and that’s okay!
Brie and Jon’s Tucson wedding is this weekend and this one has been a long time coming! We met up over a year ago in Sedona to celebrate their engagement. We photographed at the gorgeous Tlaquepaque Village and watched the sunset over the gorgeous Sedona red rocks.
These two are such sweeties together. When I asked Brie what Jon does that makes her feel especially loved, she emphasized that Jon always makes a point to take care of her. They are both hard workers and Brie said that even when she has to wake up early for work, Jon takes the time to make her lunch and make her tea before bed after a long day. When I asked Jon the same question, he also emphasized Brie’s commitment to taking care of him too. He said he’ll often care for his fiancé by cooking for her but that she makes a point to take care of him by cleaning up afterwards and making sure he relaxes, too.
These two are lovers of travel and a good themed party, they love their dogs and a good book or show.
After learning more about Brie and Jon as a couple, it was really clear how well they compliment each other and care for each other using their individual strengths. What a beautiful partnership they will make in marriage!
I’m photographing their big and fun, family-filled wedding day Tanque Verde Ranch this weekend in Tucson and I can’t wait for the meaningful moments and the party!
If you enjoyed this Sedona engagement session, I bet you’ll like this engagement session too.
