As a Tucson engagement and wedding photographer, I’m so lucky to be able to photograph all different people in all different enviornments. When Ali, Emily, and I were brainstorming about their engagement shoot, we all came to the consensus that keeping it true to *them* would be ideal. We kept it fun and simple, starting at their home in Tucson and then going downtown to capture some of the color and uniqueness of one of my favorite Tucson neighborhoods. It all came together to create their in home Tucson engagement session.
When we met, the three of us discussed our shared love of trashy reality TV, our past emo selves and love of classic cocktails. Emily and Ali have adopted the practice of making fancy cocktails at home and I’m so glad they shared this tradition with me. They also shared with me their love of shuffle board and lawn games which we also incorporated.
These two are so generous and fun! We danced and laughed all through their session and I truly feel like these Tucson engagement photos feel like *them.* Leaving their session, and after every interaction I have with them, they feel like friends. I absolutely love when that dynamic occurs with my clients and it makes me even more excited to photograph their Tucson wedding day at Historic Bate’s Mansion this weekened!
