What a joyful day this was for Emily and Ali’s Historic Bates Mansion wedding! It has been over a year since their Tucson wedding day and I am excited to finally share! This day was filled with the joy of connection between family and friends. It was also filled with lots of dancing and so many smiles and laughter. The cherry on top was their extra special “flower person” who lit up the aisle with their flower flinging and dance moves. Be sure to scroll through the gallery to see that 😉
Emily and Ali and I met at a cool cocktail bar in town before they decided to book me as their Tucson wedding photographer. Immediately I knew we would be a good fit. It’s always a plus when I feel like I can be myself around prospective clients and when I feel the same energy coming from them. We bonded over our shared love for trashy reality TV, emo early 2000s music and classic cocktails. They even made me a delicious mocktail that I could enjoy during their in home engagement session. That way both myself and my camera could stay sharp 😉
This was one of those wedding days that reminds me why I love what I do. Not only was this couple so gracious and fun, but their family and friends were so much fun to interact with too.
