Camille and Nate’s desert festival wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch. For this couple, their wedding was the perfect excuse to gather all their friends and family and throw an epic party — the desert wedding festival wedding of their dreams! I connected with these two through one of my favorite Tucson wedding planners, J Robertson Events. When she began talking to them about their wedding, desires, and vibe, she knew she had to connect them with me. I’m so glad she did!
Their intention was to fill their day with magical details that meant a lot to them AND to show their best people a good time. From glitter in their prickly pair cocktails, to table settings named after their favorite music festivals, to an amazing light show, to thoughtful guest gifts made by a local to Tucson designer. Every detail had thought and intention behind it and reflected the vibrancy of the Camille and Nate and their love.
Camille and Nate’s Desert Festival Wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch
Their day started off together with silly and sweet opportunity to have a “first look” before the ceremony. I love watching couples freak out when they see each other for the first time; noticing all the details of each other’s outfits. Camille and Nate filled their wedding party with their siblings and close friends. I loved their desert palate inspired outfits and had a blast documenting all of those thoughtful details.
Their wedding ceremony was under a gorgeous, deep blue April sky in Tucson. In the height of Tucson Spring, the wildflowers were POPPING which was a nice sprinkle of a blessing as they fit perfectly with Camille and Nate’s day. These two stood besides their friends and family and in front of all their colorfully-dressed guests and exchanged vows before running back down the aisle under a shower of dried flower petals.
The party began at cocktail hour with sparkly prickly pear margaritas and miniature donkeys! Camille and Nate soaked in the love with their family and spent some time out in the desert to soak in that last golden light!
The reception at the Barn at Tanque Verde Ranch was the big event! All the vendors shined to make Camille and Nate’s party come to life and their dance floor was EPIC. It was beautiful to see their dream wedding come to fruition and I loved seeing their joy!
When hiring a professional wedding photographer, it’s so important to choose someone who aligns with your vision. Someone who can use their skill and creativity to bring your joy to life! I was thrilled when these color-lovers found me! I knew I could make magical art for them on their wedding day. It’s also a plus when your wedding photographer is able to make you feel comfortable and create a place for you and your guests to be themselves so that translates into the images.
