I’m incredibly excited to share Hallie + Greg’s Zion National Park elopement on their one year wedding anniversary!
Hallie, Greg and I connected in the summer of 2019, in the “before times” if you will, when their family member referred me to them (I love referrals, thank you!!)
We photographed their engagement session at the University of Arizona, near where they met. These two met while working at No Anchovies, a pizza place on campus. Hallie noticed Greg for the first time one night when they both had a closing shift. She said he was slipping and sliding around the floor while cleaning and she was just so taken by how cute he was. These two make each other laugh and have such sweet, gentle and creative spirits.
Hallie and Greg’s elopement was not the original plan! They had originally planned to get married at a wedding venue in Tucson, but due to Covid they decided to scale down. They chose to have a celebration that felt more true to them and I was all for it! At the crack of dawn, one year ago, we hiked in Zion National Park to a beautiful overlook that they had picked out. They exchanged vows when the sun rose, enjoyed a champagne toast overlooking the canyon and enjoyed a picnic with their closest friends and family. We photographed around Zion afterwards and captured all their sweet “snuggliness” as well as the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Hallie and Greg are one of those couples that remind me of how lucky I am to connect with such awesome people through my job! Being apart of their intimate elopement and having the opportunity to see such natural beauty is an experience I won’t soon forget. Looking through all of these photos was a great way to reminice!
Enjoy Hallie and Greg’s Zion elopement!
