The Buttes at Reflections wedding for Steph and Mickey in Tucson, Arizona! I love me some Spring weddings! Don’t mind the fact that I’m FINALLY finishing blogging my Spring of 2021 weddings…oops. Better late than never!

Mickey + Steph’s wedding started with champagne pouring, pool playing and all the groomsmen mooning me….just scroll through see -HA!

These two are adventurers; they love camping and backpacking together so having a view of the mountains was so important to them. Thankfully the Buttes at Reflections overlooks the gorgeous Tucson Catalinas (my favorite). I also loved that this venue felt like a little oasis in the desert, with greenery, flowers and large trees to provide lots of shade. It was definitely my dream as a colorful photographer!

Steph shared a sweet first look with her dad (which I highly recommend doing) and all their friends and family showed up in colorful, fashionable garb to support them as they said their vows.

What stood out to me the most about Mickey + Steph’s Tucson wedding was the love their families showed for them. Mickey’s dad was so eager to walk Steph around to his family to introduce his new daughter-in-law and he was also so quick to speak loving words over them in his speech and prayer. Their friends ALL showed up on the dance floor and were eager to party!

When I look back on their wedding I remember the golden light shining through the trees, the gorgeous florals planted around the couple as they had their photos take, Steph’s amazing blue eyes and the way Mickey looked at her when she was having her portrait taken

I am so grateful that Mickey + Steph chose me to photograph their wedding and can’t believe their anniversary is only a month away! Looking through these photos made me so happy for them AND excited for my Spring weddings this year.
