In honor of Amanda and Tyler’s first anniversary, I’m happy to share their colorful wedding at Hacienda del Sol on my blog. I am continually blessed with such sweet and kind couples and Amanda and Tyler definitely fit into that category. They also aligned with my candid and colorful style. All of these things combined made me so excited to photograph their Tucson wedding.

Amanda was referred to me by a mutual friend, Tamara. It always means so much when someone I know refers me to a couple they know who are getting married (shout out, Tamara!). It’s such a meaningful way for friends to support my work and it truly means so much.

Amanda and Tyler got ready in Hacienda del Sol’s gorgeous rooms on the morning of their wedding. They enjoyed time with their friends and family before seeing each other for the first time. Their getting ready time included getting glammed up by I Do Hair and Makeup Artistry, poppin’ some champagne in the form of colorful confetti, playing fun games that were special to them, and lots of snuggles with their sweet puppy who they included in their wedding day!

Amanda and Tyler had a large and colorful wedding party. We took photos around the gorgeous greenery and colorful details of Hacienda del Sol’s property. Their day was made even more beautiful by their florist, Atelier de laFluer and their wedding planner, Liz of Confetti Event Planning. Their wedding ceremony was so sweet and emotional. They were supported by their friends who flanked them on either side and their parents who lovingly looked on in support as they exchanged their vows and rings.

Amanda and Tyler wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous views and golden light for their bride and groom photos. I also knew I had to capture the groovy and colorful details that Amanda, her planner and designer carefully laid out for the reception. Every detail came together so beautifully to create such a unique and fun atmosphere for this couple.

These two had their reception under the stars on one of the Hacienda del Sol lawns. A sparkler adorned first dance, cake cutting and joyful hugs with their friends and family. What a memorable and beautiful wedding day it was for Tyler and Amanda and I’m so grateful for their trust in me and that I could capture it for them.
