Colorful Wedding at The Royal Palms Resort

What a dreamy wedding day it was with Amelia and Arthur at their colorful wedding at the Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. I met Amelia in college in a study abroad program to Italy. I also photographed her college senior portraits and have such fond memories of that shoot; photographing in downtown Tucson with Amelia serving LOOKS. Fast forward a couple years, I flew out to Portland to photograph the wedding of a mutual friend of mine and Amelia’s (Andrea and Ryan’s gorgeous wedding here). Meeting this couple here at that event, I loved seeing their chemistry and joy together and was selfishly hoping I might get a call when they got engaged. I am so thankful I did!

Amelia and Arthur have such amazing style and taste. When I heard their wedding was going to be colorful, highlighting blues and yellows, I knew our styles would mesh. All of their vendors came together to deliver such a magical day for this couple. The couple wanted to spend their day together and with the people they love most; eliminating the fluff. They had an intimate ceremony at one of the gardens at the Royal Palms and then a larger cocktail hour and reception that night. A and A were showered with love and praise by their friends and family and danced long into the night.

What a pleasure it was to be their wedding photographer. I felt so fortunate to meet and be chosen by a couple with wildly good taste and I love what we created.
