I have been waiting eagerly to share Elizabeth’s senior portraits at Tucson Botanical Gardens. When Elizabeth’s mom reached out to me about photographing her daughter, she wrote the most beautiful description of all the things she loves about Elizabeth. She described her creativity and the fact that she’s not afraid to stand out from her peers. Her mom raved about Elizabeth’s ability to be herself and all the quirky and eclectic interests she has. After reading about her, I knew I had to photograph her!
We explored Tucson Botanical Gardens and their butterfly exhibit for Elizabeth’s senior portraits. She came dressed in the cutest retro dress. I really wanted to capture her among all the gorgeous flowers and greenery. It felt like an old Hollywood shoot among nature. I love what we created! Hearing from Elizabeth’s mom after the shoot was especially meaningful:
“Meredith is so incredibly talented, and my jaw is on the floor looking through the senior portraits she took of my daughter. This is the best money I’ve spent in years, and that includes my own wedding photos, which were lovely in their own right but not quite in this way. It isn’t just that the colors are vibrant and the lighting and framing gorgeous in these portraits. It’s that I feel like she captured my daughter’s spirit, partly by helping her relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera, and partly by having an artist’s eye. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Meredith!”
Receiving words like this are so incredibly meaningful to me and I’m honored that Elizabeth’s mom felt this way! Enjoy Elizabeth’s senior portraits at the Tucson Botanical Gardens:
