Here it is! The moment we’ve all been waiting for….Best of 2020 (part 1). You asked for wedding and couples first so here we are! In case you missed last year’s post here is the Best of 2019.
This year, despite the COVID craziness, has been my most successful year in business yet. I am incredibly grateful for that and incredibly grateful to all my clients who have continued to work with me, scale their weddings down, reschedule or have me around for their mini ceremony. It has been a year of growing more confident in my abilities and learning more about business and marketing (and I’ve actually been enjoying that!!) Pandemic precautions have encouraged me to bring more flexibility into my work life, but it has also encouraged me to continue to go above and beyond to serve those who hire me.
2020 was filled with colorful weddings, yellow wedding dresses, classic car transports, pre-pandemic dance floors, meaningful speeches, maternity shoots filled with huge smiles and silliness, an elopement on the coast of California, mini ceremonies in backyards, lots of hand sanitizer and matching wedding masks, epic shots of wedding gowns, grooms with green suits, neon signs, colorful bridesmaids and signature cocktails named after pets.
It has been another year of being invited in to your most special days and paying attention to them, witnessing the moments and capturing them in the special way that only I can so that you are fully immersed in them. Though 2020 threw incredible curve balls, I’m thankful that I continued to step up to the plate and all of you were cheering me on (okay, enough of the sports metaphors, here are the photos!) 😉
Be sure to come back later this week for the Best of 2020 Portraits featuring family and senior photos.
Did you love what you saw here and know someone who would love it to? Share this post with them! Referrals are an incredible way to support what I do. If you know someone getting married in 2021-2022, give them my name! It would be an incredible honor!
